Wednesday, January 12, 2011

IBM and Standardware Software Developers have enhanced the support for Debug Tool and COPE. Based on high demand from customers, IBM and Standardware jointly developed a way for individual Debug Tool, users to simultaneously test different versions of the same online transaction without affecting other users who share the same message regions.

The cooperative effort of both Development Labs brought a wealth of experience to the project and produced a bundled product set useful to all of the IMS Customers Worldwide.

IBM Debug Tool is an interactive source-level debugging tool for compiled applications in batch, TSO, CICS, DB2, DB2 stored procedures, IMS, and UNIX System Services.

COPE for IMS is from Standardware allows multiple Logical IMS environments to run simultaneously in a single Physical IMS System. COPE for IMS provides additional business flexibility and increases productivity for application development, systems programmers and operations staff.
